Our approach

Montessori, with Zimbabwe in it.

Dr Montessori's method and our own culture ask the same thing of a child: look closely, work with your hands, respect the people around you.

🧩

The prepared environment

Real Montessori materials on low shelves, chosen for each age. Children pick their own work, repeat it until it's theirs, and learn to care for the room they share.

🥁

Culture and language

Ngoma, song and story are part of every week. Children hear and speak our languages alongside English, and grow up proud of where they come from.

🌿

Outdoors and water

Gardening, climbing, swimming. Big movement for small bodies, and the quiet confidence that comes from being capable in the world.

Classrooms

Three communities, one path.

Each child moves through our classrooms as they're ready, with the same guides and the same calm expectations all the way.

From toddlerhood

YCC-1

The Young Children's Community for our youngest. Language, movement and first independence — pouring, dressing, helping — in a small, gentle group.

Towards three

YCC-2

More practical life, more words, more friends. Children who are ready to do things for themselves and are starting to do them for each other.

Three to six

Children's House

The classic Montessori classroom: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics and culture, with a three-year span so older children lead and younger ones look up.

A day with us

Rhythm, not rush.

Young children settle when the day is predictable. Ours follows the same shape every morning, with long stretches of uninterrupted work.

  1. Arrival
A greeting at the door, shoes off, a hand washed, and straight into the room.
  2. The work cycle
A long, unhurried block where children choose their work and guides give lessons one child at a time.
  3. Snack and circle
Children prepare and serve snack. Then songs, Ngoma, a story, the news of the day.
  4. Outdoors
Garden, climbing frames, bikes — and swimming on swimming days.
  5. Lunch, rest and home
Lunch together, a rest for the little ones, and a calm afternoon until collection.
Why families choose us

Ready for the next school, and for the world.

Our children leave able to concentrate, to finish what they start, and to speak up for themselves — which is what the best schools in Harare are looking for.

Small, mixed-age groups

Each child is known. Older children teach, younger ones stretch, and nobody is lost in a crowd.

Guides who follow the child

Our teachers observe before they intervene, and keep a record of every child's work and progress to share with you.

A real partnership with parents

Daily reports, attendance and fees are all in the parent app, and the door is open for a conversation whenever you need one.
